Above the beach are vineyards and it has very little sahde. Milna was the first resort on Vis. There is a restored mansion, now a restaurant.
Ženka developed east of Milna, a holiday village, which unlike others, does not have its own cove. Milna can be reached by the road via Podstražje, or by a new road across Stončica.
