Podstražje is a village with a sea view on the south–east side of the island. It got its name after a fort that defended the village from pirates. It was situated above the village, but its not preserved today. There are people who have their fishermen houses in neighbouring coves, such as: (Bargujac, Rukavac, Milna and Ženka), today more inhabited than Podstražje itself.
