Duboka is a place next to Podšpilje with a cove of the same name on the south side of the island. It is a small village in which the traditional construction is preserved. A macadam road leads to an interesting place, called Talež, an authentically restored village, and to Vela Gomila, the stone lighthouse, built during the Illyrian Queen Teuta, making it the oldest lighthouse on the Adriatic.
